That's it. I am officially done with Azoogle. Their tracking system has fucked me over for the last time.

I made a landing page for a good offer they had running. My landing page got indexed and very few people found it through search engines. It had like 3 clicks and one conversion. I thought "hey, not bad".

I decided to send PPC to the offer (i sent quite a few clicks) but I saw no leads! WTF! My landing page was awesome and the keywords were super targetted. There was no way there was not 1 lead from the amount of clicks I sent. So I decided to test the offer out. Yep! When I did the offer, it did not credit me. I had several other people do that as well (because maybe it was a fluke) and it STILL did not credit me. I just wasted over $200 on PPC on this offer. I can bet you right now that if the tracking system worked, I would have at least broke even on the offer.

And this isn't the only time Azoogle's tracking has sucked big time. I split test a dating offer awhile back, with the same landing page from another company. Azoogle didnt track 80% of the leads.

What a load of shit. Back to Hydra/Copeac.

Yeah I'd bet it is a problem on the advertiser's end. Tracking can vary a bit network to network due to cookie blockers and the like - but every time I've seen a huge problem it has always been the advertiser fucking around or something.

yoey,

Shoot either myself or your affiliate manager an email, we'd be more than happy to help you. As others pointed out, sometimes an advertiser changes, updates, removes, or any variation of the word modifies their confirmation page, without paying attention to the pixels placed on it, which obviously stops tracking for us or any other network associated with the offer. It's a pain in the butt but it happens, far more often than it should. If we don't report leads to you, that means we don't get paid for leads, and with 500+ offers its often caught later than it should be. Let us know the offer and we'll investigate it right away. If leads were not tracked, that means the advertiser should have a log of them and we should be able to post the leads into your account (happened to a few pubs with eharmony last week actually).

Cheers, sorry :(

AZ has some problems here and there but just as every other network does too.

Tell your AM your story and they should be able to work with you. They've moved quickly to fix most tracking problems I've had with them and they'll credit you leads if necessary.

They're pretty good overall.

Hey, you beat me to that line...

Azoogle's been nothing but good to me so far, and never had tracking issues. Hell, one offer I'm running oddly reports more leads on Azoogle's end than my Google conversion pixel reports. I thought I'd never actually run offers through Azoogle due to some issues years ago (before AzoogleAds, when it was just Azoogle) that caused some minor issues with my hosting customers (Alex, BurstNET ring a bell?), but I've definitely become a fan.

Alex, do you work out of NYC, or are you still in Canada?

I dont know if this is just adding fuel to the fire but, azoogle hasnt paid me since April. Sent a few emails to my AM, he did mention he'd 'look into it' but havent heard back since. I've also sent a few emails asking what's up with this,....still no response.

Hi everyone,

You are right. It could be the advertisers problem.

I hope I am not being over-emotional. However, what lead me to believe that the tracking system was flawed was 2 things:

a) Hydra had this same offer (it expired though) and it tracked seamlessly.
b) I have had trouble with other offers being tracked properly on Azoogle (hence my split-test example)

Anyhow, I appreciate the Azoogle guys going out of their way to help me out. If they could solve this problem I wouldn't be so bitter anymore. Ill send you guys an email.

Thanks.

Funny how so many campaigns give you a lead within the first few clicks to make you THINK it converts well, only to find out it doesn't convert worth a shit once you send some real traffic to it.

It's the carrot lead. They dangle it in front of you so you start running, only to find out you'll never get a bite.

Happens over, and over and over again. It's easy to blame the network when it's much, much more likely to be the advertiser.

The truth is, most networks bend over for their advertisers. Affiliates are a dime a dozen (unless you're a BIG earner) and advertisers providing the offers are the bread and butter.

I've had that shit happen a lot, its hella discouraging. Well glad to see Azoogle isn't shit, a year ago I did okay with them.

Email Alex - he'll get it taken care of, hooked me up from a similar situation about 3 weeks ago.

I've been questioning a ringtones offer lately. Some days I make like $100, and some days I lose money. Funny thing is, I haven't changed any thing with my campaign so i'm not sure what's going on.
