So Comedy Central blinked...

Right, because innocent civilians are the bully instead of soldiers in military uniform.
How exactly does that statement disprove or invalidate this: "Isn't that the exact point used by the Muslim extremists when they call for jihad against the US?"

Conservatives of the West = conservatives of the Middle East.
It's ironic that they hate each other so much without realizing just how much alike they really are.

We can get into the whole innocent civilians debate, but I doubt you'll be able resist jumping on tangents the moment I outline flaws in your primitive way thinking and back you into a corner.

You didn't answer the question...Politically correct internet kid (that thinks socialism is cool) or a sleeper cell member?

Please answer

PS: are you intelligent enough to understand that the muslims that don't pratice hate and bloodshed are not following the koran and therefore are not really MUSLIM? Learn to read up on the facts and quit taking maddow and the other blinded fucks as truth.

P.S. Quit being a fucking sheep...learn to think for yourself

Its a false dichotomy, I either love being politically correct (and for some reason socialism??) or I am a terrorist...

...I know you guys are all black and white but this is fucking retarded.

Ok then either the ocean is red or your favorite food is tofu, which is it??? Answer it? Obviously the only possible reasons you think the retarded shit you think is because the oceans are red or your favorite food is tofu.

So since neither apply then what possible reason did I have for posting that? Maybe its because I'm sick of your insecure victimization faggotry. Nobody even mentioned Christianity at all. But there is popeye playing the rac...religion card. Whaaaaaa people are mean to me.

Let's take a look at Leviticus shall we?
Leviticus said:
'Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.'
...
When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. 34The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
...
‘Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.
...
‘Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.
...
‘Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it.'
So let's hear it Popeye, how many people are "good christians" who don't cut their hair, don't eat rare cheeseburgers, do not have a garden with 2 kinds of plants in it, don't have any clothes that are a blend of materials, and support an open immigration policy?

What of the rest of them (like yourself)? Are they really Christian?

I'm not arguing your point, however I have to point out something here. Do you notice how it talks about treating aliens with love and like they were one of your own? The nature of the Quran from what I've read, is quite the opposite... not every verse says to go rape and pillage, but in general it is very hostile towards 'infidels' or non-believers.. this is why i don't like Islam, it is structured on hate towards anyone who doesn't 'believe'... I can at least say, for the most part, that Christianity is based on quite the opposite. I'm an atheist and in my view, religion just creates problems in general, but lets face it.. Islam is definitely the bad apple in the bunch.

as i always say, religion is the root of all problems

But it is not true. Religion is not the root of all problems. Ignorance is the root of most problems.

Ignorance is the state of most people. Ignorance can be manipulated into fear, envy, and hatred. Ignorance has provided populist cover for beheadings, suicide bombings, cluster bombing, genocide, theft, child abuse, sexism, racism, torture etc.

When people are ignorant, it is easy to divide them and rule them with lies. Christians vs. Muslims. Muslims vs. Jews. Atheists vs. the religious. Men vs. Women, White vs. Black, Old vs. Young, East vs. West and so on.

I'm not sure what you have read, but there is plenty of stuff in the Islamic tradition that projects the opposite.

Most religions have more than one face. For example, most Christians live by an Old Testament conception of the world, and ignore the teachings of Christ, which in many cases, contradict the Old Testament way of doing things.

Islam has some stuff in it that I do not agree with and I think is completely unacceptable socially (and even dangerous), but there is also a lot of that love your neighbor stuff you can find in the New Testament of the Bible.

A knowledge of history exposes predictable patterns. The German propaganda about the Allies, the Allied propaganda about the Japanese, the Soviet propaganda about Americans etc.

Since 9/11, the propaganda in the west has been very one way. That's normal and expected. You can't justify invading countries and destroying their governments, planning to occupy them for decades on end, if they aren't first characterized as backwards, violent and dangerously fanatical.

I expect the Islamist propaganda back the other way is the same, projecting westerners in the worst possible light, include their religious institutions. Sinful, decadent and unclean. I mean, you have to conjure up a lot of hate and confusion in a man's heart to get him to commit suicide with a bomb to kill people he doesn't know and doesn't have an actual beef with.

Likewise, you have to develop a deep rooted fear and loathing to get someone to do some of the brutal torture that happened at Abu Ghraib against people who were basically in the wrong place at the wrong time.

That's why ignorance is dangerous. It can be manipulated into all sorts of destructive and anti-social behavior by whoever can whip up the most emotion.

Christianity is very very similar in a lot of ways. It's quite intolerant of those who disagree with it. The whole "crusades" thing wasn't a slip of the biblical tongue. Neither was the Spanish inquisition or the slaughter of the Myans and the Aztecs.

Part of what I actually skipped over when mentioning Leviticus is proper manners for sleeping with another man's enslaved future wife (for reference, if she has not been ransomed yet, you need to slaughter a ram)...and people complain about Hijabs?

The major religions we end up addressing today (Christianity, Judaism and Islam) all have their roots at give or take the same time period. They involve a lot of the same stories, the same people, and the same lessons. If you use them as a purely ethical guide, there's very little wrong with them, and not even too much conflict from an ethical point of view...

The problem is that the successful religions all have to have an element to them that provides conversions, and an element that provides self-defense against others who would try to eliminate the religion. As these get merged together and later join with the more philosophical points, bad things happen. Time has shown that no matter how concrete the basis for a point is ("Thou shalt not kill") people will add asterisks and fine print as they see fit.
A lot of the books that were eventually included in the Bible by the Romans were specifically chosen/altered to fit with these goals. Others not fitting their narrative were abandoned.

Just my opinion.

Edit: And all the major religions (for the record) have a majority people who rightfully ignore the possible violent interpreations of their religion. Islam and Christianity included.

we should pull that clip from youtube and find every image and so-called image of Muhammad, and start a site called something like "this is Muhammad . com".

I've read the article and if "warning" them about another killing then publishing their addresses in the same article isn't a threat... then I don't know what a threat is.

This seems to be a common talking point among people who don't know much about Christianity. Orthodox Jews still live by the Old Testament, so maybe you want to try that gimmick out on them.

Christianity states that the coming of Jesus and the New Testament(aka the new covenant) replaced the Old Testament(aka the old covenant) given to Moses by God. It replaced the Mosaic Law with the Law of Grace.

That's why Paul wrote this:

"...who made us adequate to be servants of a new covenant not based on the letter but on the Spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life..."

"For indeed, what had been glorious now has no glory because of the tremendously greater glory of what replaced it...
"

And also here, where Paul explains that the Mosaic Law was meant to be a temporary guardian until the coming of the Messiah:

"Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by faith...

But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith
..."

I'd suggest reading a little of the New Testament and studying up on the basic tenets of Christianity before bashing it and embarrassingly displaying your ignorance.
