So I asked Steve Hartman, Sr. Director of EPN "Why is it so hard to get approved?"

Ask him how they track customer engagement with eBay.com and are they really able to track that back to individual partners?

I guarantee you they can track back the customer to the referring partner. And more than likely most actions taken on the site are logged, think of it like a localized behavioral network.

Without referral tracking internet advertising would not exist. It all boils down to the cookies and the GUIDs

I never had problems with EPN, and I once saw a post about how to do join EPN site 100%.

Maybe its a bit immoral but, just use someone elses site that doesnt have any epn links, like some site for new york watches for example. They will see it has a traffic, it looks nice, and will approve it.

Later you can just change the site in the EPN details.

Remember no harm done here, but it works, people said it worked better then building their own phpbay or bans site...

Shit. Missed it.

Oh well if you happen to still be taking questions ask about the acru. How do they determine it? Does the quality score determine on how targetted the traffic is (obviously this is a yes but I'm referring to the degree of targeting) so like If i sent someone to my site through a link for sheets, and they bought curtiains is that better than if they bought headphones? or do they have to bid on the same day? Also how many accounts can one person have? And do they realize they encourage people to buy multiple accounts by not seperating out their acru stats? (ie people by multiple accounts to spread out campaigns so as one doesn't affect the other)

Say there is a guy named Bob. Bob is an electrican by day and knows how to use frontpage98 a little. He has some old crappy website that he does not update

Bob heard you can make money with EPN and wants to get a plugin like phpbay or Bans or A2P and put up a bunch of feeds

Can Bob, being an inexperienced dufus, but generally honest american, get accepted to just put up a bunch of low-quality feed sites?

or does Bob have to put up a big song and dance "Show Site" to get accepted.

Please help clarify something. Do you have to have a different EPN account for each site you want to sell a product on? Is that why people buy multiple EPN accounts? I thought you were able to use one account for as many niche sites as you wanted.

I have an EPN account and using the PHP Bay lite plugin with it at a site that gets decent organic traffic. My stats are weird! Two impressions, 4168 clicks, making a total of $1.41 for the month. I'm going to take a wild guess that the PHP Bay plugin doesn't help eBay track impressions correctly, am I right?

I guess that after all the cookies that got dropped by them it takes time for the earnings to catch up. It doesn't look worthwhile sending the EPN any PPC traffic, IMHO. I hope that the clicks I'm generating is enough to keep me from getting tossed out of the network.
