I got you a quitting gift

Congratulations man! Judging by your posts in the Facebook Social Ads' thread, I see they've done you well. :)

Congrats dude, and good luck. Make sure you get that insurance though - not worth risking.

Make sure you don't slack and keep your self on good sleep and waking times. Routine will be key lol.

we all know that taking that step is very hard. When is the right time? Am I gonna make enough money? What now?
Personally, I haven't taken that step yet. I know that it will come in the next year or so.
I know that leaving my regular job will push me in the direction I want to go.
It's just a matter of timing and "ripeness".

Good Luck!

Best of luck! This is something I think everyone should do once, if only to renew their love of a stable paycheck after a few years of not being able to reliably pay the bills :)

Congrats & all the best for the future! There must be something in the air as I did just the same yesterday. Just took a call from my boss, not much to say but he wished me well ... Onwards

Thanks everyone.

I made the jump when I was at ASE. I had all these ideas and realized I can't put them all into motion if I'm working all the time. It just boiled down to if I'm making a decent amount with only 4-5 hrs a day working, how much can I make working 12 hrs a day?

Also what's the worst that can happen? I have a college degree and work experience, can always find another job :). No nuts, no glory.

Final countdown till I'm free whooo!

Dr Ngo

I gotta say I was on the fence about quitting my 9-5 (which I just began in June), but that post put it in perspective.

Putting in my 2 weeks in the next week or two!
