So my friend is in the process of getting fucked over by a landlord

Ditch the weak internet shit and smash his car up with a fucking crowbar.

ProTip: People are stupid, they don't know organic vs. Paid. Buy some adwords space, "IS JOE SHMOE A SCAMMER? Click here before you rent your apt with him."

Total cost to you: $10

Total cost to him: However much his underpants cost at the moment he reads your very polite email saying you'd like to get out of your contract because you read something on google when you Google his name...

This and try and rank the site for the guys name/business. softwarez may help as you dont care about the domain.

You make the assumption here that this dickhole actually cares about his online reputation. He might... he might not.

If he doesn't, then all your time/energy/money spent ranking him is for naught.

In this case, your bud has 2 weeks and then no home. So, 1) I would make sure that getting a new place is a priority. Then 2) I would begin pursuing legal action against the landlord.

Check with your State to see if they have a consumer protection division, and if not, send the landlord a letter, indicating he has XX days to refund the deposit or you are sending a letter to the AG of your State.

If that doesn't work, find a consumer advocacy attorney and seek their guidance. Fuck, maybe even just drop it in small claims court. I would just think there has to be better options than ranking for something that might not matter.

Why waste your time? Do you really have NOTHING better to do? Seriously, use your mad internetz skill to find your friend a place to live.

not worth it, landlord can go by a different name or even sell his house (if you listed his property on the site).

Just take the case to a small claims court. and get uour money back.
