Photoshop is really amazing... :D
so now all her friends are bugging me to take them to the same photographer.
Anybody knows what kind of filters or actions are used by photographers to touchup fashion pictures?

This is actually becoming a more and more popular niche of photography. Over in South Jersey theres Glamour Bitch.

If ever you wanted to see testimony to the power of photoshop and lighting, check out the before and afters: BEFORE AND AFTERS | GlamourBitchPhoto.com

Edited to say, OP those photos are amazing. You're a lucky guy, and if I was your wife I would be super ecstatic about how great they came out.

wife's hot dude. As for the editing, doesn't look like they did anything too fancy, just used a good camera and cleaned up the lighting and shadows in Photoshop a bit. Standard kit for photogs

Photoshop Box Tutorials - Naturally Vivid Colors

Step-by-step (for a photo site I owned):

Mode> Lab colors> Select "Channels" in layers window> Select Channel "A"> Click on the little eye next to "Lab"
Go to the Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and play with the CONTRAST slider> Modify it Now do the same thing for Channel "B" (modify the contrast by the same number). Change image back to RGB mode: Image > Mode > RGB Color

It's really quite easy. This is for color pictures only, tutorial for PS

Really pops the colors, you can see a huge difference with miniamal amount of effort.

At fvaldes:

Given that you and your wife are together, I'll assume you dig her company and find her engaging. For that, congrats. The body (usually) goes away. The personality? It's there forever. Good work finding a partner you enjoy.
