Just a heads up i think almost all of DT is down except for us :)

Check your links make sure they aren't going to a dead page.

Its not DT since some are up and some are down.

Some networks refuse to pay for a higher level of service which is why they go down. If you're a network and cant pay for your own dedicated servers you should just shut down now.

Copeac has 8 servers on the front end and several on the back end. we are partially through a migration off the normal DT infrastructure and on to our own separate infrastructure that will further prevent outages. We spent 10's of thousands of dollars in added hardware to ensure Copeac is always up.

Maybe if those networks that put the blame on DT pony'ed up and spent money to protect their business you wouldnt have to deal with tracking links going dead.

After all if you drive a high performance car and put cheap gas in it, chances are your car wont run right.

Maybe this is why you sent out that awful fucking email tonight?

1) Who closed that other thread? And why the fuck did you close it?

2) Copea-c, if you want my business, and don't want me to just laugh at your emails, don't post stupid shit like there's no need to put anyone new on weekly wires.

I'm not complaining about the email at all, I really did LOL when I read it, which is always nice. I'm complaining about the thread closure and giving you some honest advise on where you fucked up in gaining affiliate's business.

I enjoyed the Copea-c ASW party and I have used Copea-c in the past, but wtf.

I asked Jon to close the thread after i responded

A former employee who had access to DT sent the email out, it wasnt authorized by us and when they originally showed us we told them no. What happened yesterday was their way of getting even with us, i felt it was best to respond and let it die out.

Its not a proud moment for us, as in the end it is our fault that it went out and we need to put more controls in place to prevent this from happening again.

In regards to the wires from months ago, we couldnt put anyone new on because we grew a lot and were concerned about being able to cover payments to affiliates at the time so we didnt add anyone new, because we wanted to make sure everyone was paid in full and on time, if i added more people there was a good chance our cash flow wouldnt cover the wires

I have always been fair and honest with everyone of our publishers and advertisers

I have no comment on Copeac or the email.

My comment is with regards to the closing of the other thread. While it is completely Jon's right to do so, as owner to the forum, I thought it an unwise step. I realize you're doing damage control but in a forum, especially one as vocal as this one, history has shown that the best thing to do in situations like this is to let it burn it'self out. Most people will come to understand what really happened (whatever that may be) and just carry on. But when you try to clamp down on the information being passed along, it usually makes things much worse. Especially, in Wickedfire. In other words, people around here seem to be apt to forgive a few missteps, but you gotta let it play out on it's own accord.

My 2 cents.

He did that for you ... as an observation , not long ago, another network's aff manager made a mistake (as in posting something personal about a member) and when that network asked for the posts to be removed / thread closed (since the actions were not condoned / approved by the network owner) well it turned into an all out war - and ended in a "settlement report" ;)
