Some Questions about Affiliate Summit East

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to take Rexibit's advice for now. If I can afford to pay full price in August, then I'll go.

I would say you go for it though. Just the After-Effect of the session will push you to work on a thing or two that will pay off your expense. Other than the networking and such, the show will convince you that you can make it in the IM world. It is a huge confidence booster. Get the Silver Pass and go for it. When you attend it next year, you would wish that you attended it earlier.

Asides, you won't do what rexibit is saying anyway. Not many people do.

wow awesome thread I came to read after several days. I appreciate all the inputs and this thread will be helpful for many struggling IMers or noobs to understand about this IM game.

I personally thank all of the guys who have put value to this thread.

Although I would like to ask about similar conference which is ad:tech. As I'm quite sure Affiliate Summit never held a conference in India so far, and I don't think they have any plans in near future. though ad:tech held a conference in India at New Delhi last month and I missed it due to uncertainty of its value but they are going to repeat it same in Feb. 2012. So I'm wondering if ad:tech have similar value as ASW.

Pardon me if I mistaken to compare two different conferences but I guess their purpose are somewhat similar.

Also, keep an eye on our blog for opportunities to get free passes.

I entered this just now, and wondering something, Shawn. You have a essay portion, but your rules say the giveaway winners are determined by the number of entries. Are you judging essays, or just pulling random winners?

I think that people trying to decide whether to go or not should make location a factor. If you have to fly in and get a hotel and really can't afford it, you're better off staying at home and working. Those in the area (like me) should try and attend. It's a good time with great networking at low cost.
