I created a site a while back when I was first starting out and forgot to whois guard it. I threw up some rebill affiliate offers on the site, and now someone on complaintsboard.com found all my info and put it up on the website, and claims that I'm behind the scam. Does anyone know if I can get this information taken down? I mean, I don't mind my name being up there, but my address and phone number pisses me off a little bit.

Anyone dealt with a situation like this before?

lol, I guess I'll have to keep a baseball bat handy then in case some overweight mothers make it to my door.

my suggestion?

Bury it. Get as many soical networking pages, sites, profiles, accounts with your full name. Establish a profile, build links. Is complaint board a hard one to bury? I'm not sure but I can think of 10 pr 9 sites that you can add your name in the title that will help you out, at the same time, you can build some relationships yourself maybe, and in turn could lead to a sale down the line of your own product or services.

There are def some sites powerful enough to clean the first page for compliantsboard but ripoffreport.com usually requires actual cleaning/work to clean page 1 completely.

This is obviously an Illuminati conspiracy.

TEH JUICE ARE CLEARLY BEHIND BOTH THIS AND 9/11

edit: I love the guy pulling the sign away. You can tell by the look on his face he's like "dude, wtf are you doing, put that sign down!" and the guy holding it is like lolwut. Whoever made that sign for that retard is an awesome IRL troll.

I'll clean the first page of Google for you. $2.5k per search term you want cleaned ;D

Other than that you're probably fucked, just be happy they didn't post the shit on ripoffreport.com as that's a much bigger PITA to clean than compliantsboard.

Is that the going rate?

Serious question. What would be a fair rate to have control over all 10 top 10 result? Obviously depends on the kw but ballpark for an easy kw?

I'm getting $5,000 per month from a client right now but they have multiple keywords they need cleaned. They have also done some serious damage to their name so not only do they have complinatsboarrd they also have ripoffreport and a slew of others. They also have tons of forums and yahoo answers, etc. So their shit is pretty serious.

I really have no idea what a normal rate would be. I wouldn't fuck with it for less than $2,000 - $3,000 personally but you can probably find someone to do it cheaper if you look.

you can have it deleted, I routinely do this with complaintsboard

Yea? How? Just email them or send some type of legal notice?

I do a lot of rep management - I wouldn't touch it for the same rates. I always enjoy charging more for the folks who try the cheaper guys first :)

Just so I understand - cleaning = creating a bunch of sites, or pages, or bumping existing pages/sites so they appear at the top or at least above the site with the slander?

Yup.

Depending on how badly the client has tarnished his name will depend on what method you use. If it's something easy like some random forum post or maybe a blog post, you can usually outrank all 9 sites or however many thats needed by creating user accounts or pages on high authority sites.

For example, if the company name is "Butt Fuck Drywall Company" you could go here and create a new thread that has "Butt Fuck Drywall Company" in the title then throw a bunch of links at it. Also, if you can trick the dipshits into having a long conversation with you in the thread about whatever fake issue you come up with that's even better. Just keep asking stupid fucking questions and grow the thread. Rinse and repeat on different sites and forums. The only drawback to the "free" method is that haters of your company can also signup to that forum or site and shit all over your clean new results.

If the shit is really out of hand, you will have to create entire sites dedicated to the company name or whatever phrase it is they need to be cleaned for.
