Someone Put My Name On ComplaintsBoard

Complain to the site that someone falsely used your information as contact info, or posted false information to the site. Threaten them or some shit, and maybe someone there will fall for it. Else, read the rest of this thread.

Complaints board is the easiest of them all.

Send an email that your info was used falsely, then back it up with some proof and they generally remove it within 72 hours. No need in paying 5k for this shit

Interesting. I've never had a job that required cleaning of just complaintsboard anyway, the ones I've had always had to get rid of ripoffreport.com and sometimes others. Ripoffreport is the problem site to get removed.

Depends. I actually charge for the research - then hit them up with a quote.

Most of my clients are semi local although I have worked for bigger cable companies and a phone company. Usually it's things like the local pizza shop having bad reviews - that stuff is easy. The bigger companies I've charged over 15k for.... and burned through a huge chunk of it just cleaning up the thousands and thousands of reviews that are negative.

More often then not I'm hired by other seo firms since they can't do it right.

I will say services like fivver.com can be a huge help when you need americans posting reviews. Just a pain to manage.
 
Mad respect for all the tips. I shoulda mentioned that this was only a comment under a long ass thread about a rebill product (so not even really noticeable). Anyway, I emailed complaints board yesterday and today they removed the comment with my info in it. No donation required.
