Yeah it's fucking 4 degrees outside looks like i'll be putting my beer blanket on early today.

I only wish right now, seriously. I hate the cold weather with a passion.
I've always secretly cheered global warming since the rising of the oceans would give me beach front property here in DFW.

But I guess that doesn't help you out too much living in the Houston lowlands.
 
i went to the gym at 630 today and it must have been below 0. you know its fucking cold when the electronics on your car begin to fail.
 
For real im in the dfw area and it's FUCKIN COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!


I dont think it has ever been this cold in texas..... ever

Yeah, mine were failing this morning: car said 2°, desktop said -2° when I got in to the office.

Either way it was full of suck.
 
It's a blazing 57 here today. Supposed to get cold again over the weekend though, low of 28 on Saturday. 28 in FL is COLD. Must be all the humidity in the air. Back to the 70's again late next week. Yay!
 
We used to be able to leave our plants and old people outside in the winter. It never got cold enough here to worry about. But the past couple of weeks we have had to bring plants inside and cover our old people up.

One way to keep them from freezing is to spray a light mist of water on them. That will cause a thin layer of ice that provides some warmth.
