Soo.. No one here uses AdSense?

Agree with that! Try Leadbolt or Cpalead, gateway unlock is the way forward

Right. That sounds like you will be providing a lot of value to your site visitors. Great concept for a long-term business. Adsense, well executed, can make for a good business. Treat it as a business and you will be rewarded. Treat it like a retard and you will be ....

CPA marketing (the PPC way) can make you hundreds of thousands overnight, but there's risk involved.

With adsense, risk is little to none, but it can give you steady income. And no, you won't get "rich" with adsense unless you have an extremely popular site or hundreds/thousands of not-so-popular sites.

Well said.

There's still a shit load of money in adsense. One rule of thumb in this business is that everything still works....and doesn't.....

The point is it's just not as easy as it used to be. If you want to make money in adsense you need kick ass keyword research and good content - an aged account doesn't hurt either. A good yard stick is to assume that you'll get about 20% of the cpc on keywords with high competition.

There are still plenty of $50 and $100 dollar a click keywords out there but nobody is going to wave them around.

Since most people travel in packs no one still making a killing in adsense is going to yell "HEY GUYS YOU ARE WRONG, THERE'S PLENTY OF MONEY IN ADSENSE LOOK OVER HERE..."

Uh uh, I don't think so....

As someone alluded to, it's all about ROI and being creative....there's adsense for feeds, adsense for videos, adsense for mobile devices and non-english adsense (which is a good 5+ years behind....)

my site is 2 days old and i have around 700 visits on the 2nd day and growing..counting 500-600 uv in 3 days (including a 2 hours of today's stats)

you're using awstats , which really means about 1/4 of the traffic is real visitors

Spread your apples around a few baskets. There's no reason why adsense shouldn't be one of them. Like everything, it varies. This month I'm at a 15.22 eCPM and loving it, but there are plenty of stretches where it falls off.
