Do spam emails work?

I get like 100 emails a day selling watches - do they ever work?
do they hope to catch me on a day when I was late and think oh yeah I must buy a watch - oh look this email is selling "cheap rowlexes" (deliberate smelling pistake)

Of course they work, if it didn't work spam wouldn't exist anymore.

The conversion rate is probably extremely low but the huge numbers make up for that.

Yep they work, If they didn't they wouldn't do it.

It's still not worth the risk though
