Was looking everywhere for a decent way to check my work in different browsers. The solutions out there for the 'most' part are fucking horrible. In continuing to look around, at different solutions such as VMWare and VirtualPC I came across spoon.net.

It really doesn't get much better than that IMHO. If you need a solution, check it out. We'll worth the $60 /year to ensure you don't look like a dipstick.

Yeah I do use it, but it's slow. This is a real emulator so you can test everything as if you were the user. Very valuable for finding javascript that crashes older browsers or cross browser compatibility issues in the layout or CSS.

Adobe BrowserLab looks nice but then again it's not quite the same thing. They have built an application that "duplicates" the enviroment of XYZ browser but it's not exact.

Spoon actually has you download the installer and install in the emulator. It's not heavy and works great.

It's a tool for professional / enterprise level developers that want to provide a solid product highly compatible and tested product.
