YES.....you read that right. Does anyone have any advice for identifying twitter accounts that belong to 16 year old girls in my area.........please let me explain

I have a job coming up with a local shop that hires dresses. With prom season fast approaching im thinking of tracking down prospective customers (16 year old girls) and offering them discounts / free extras e.g. accessories.

My line of thinking is use hootsuite to identify prospects and offer influencers free dress hire & give them discounts coupons for their friends. When their friends come in hit them with another offer.

What im looking for is a means of scraping prospective lists of clients on auto pilot and filtering out accounts wont covert.

I can traul lists of users / search for keywords and examining their followers but I was looking for something more hands off.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Its actually not me doing the do called "stalking," rather a very pleasant lady who works for the shop. I've already given her a crash course in twitter strategy, and using hootsuite / what the metrics implies/its flaws & which keywords to monitor in streams e.g. college name, prom, exam.

Observation - girls tweeting about exams have higher klout scores.

For all its flaws im wondering if klout can be used to measure popularity within a school environment. By targeting alpha personalities / popular individuals with free prom dress hire on the condition they tweet about how how amazing their experience was follow/like and give exclusive discounts to their best friends.

When their friends arrive vouchers in hand hit them with a similar incentive (not free) and give them a further incentive for giving their friends discount vouchers.

Great thread title lol!!! I don't have any specific advice; I'm not strong with twitter particularly.

I would drive a social contest on FB and twitter. Have 1 winner who gets a whole package (a hot popular girl), and then everyone else is a runner up eligible for a discounted package. Drive entries via FB and Twitter ads using contest software with a social sharing component.

Lol - I thought so too. Controversial topics usually get a good response......however any time I post on this forum for the next few months my questions will be answered with paedo bear memes :disgust:

Another lesson learned the hard way

My line of thinking exactly, but go for alpha personalities from each college in the city.

Ill be using facebook apps to provide coupon offers for likes.
