This is about 20+ days old so some of you may have already seen it. Some guy is supposedly fasting for 40 days and is posting daily updates. Personally I think it's a horrible idea and wouldn't be shocked if he dropped dead. After this is all said and done and IF this guy "succeeds", thousands of people will try it no doubt. Will probably see it on the oprah show. lol

mehh when its finished im sure he will try and sell some crappy e book on how he managed to do it ....
mehh .....

P.S Please ignore the below image. Some paranoid people have accused me of taking photos months ago then losing weight and uploading recent photos so they asked me to hold a spoon and a peice of paper to prove that it is live.

heh.

I think it's kinda cool. ( Not for the reasons of losing weight. I think that's stupid, probably fucking up his metabolism for good. ) However there's been a lot crap for thousands of years (even biblical) about fasting and what it does for the mind/body/spiritual experience. It's fascinating to watch someone do it in real time.

IMO he'll get double the weight when he starts eating again...

that's what I said, but apparently this is one of the questions he wants to answer. Pretty stupid mind set. Why risk your life on something that has been told to be true for so long.

And yea I agree with turbo, it is pretty fascinating to watch. David Blaine did something similar and it looked like he was about to drop dead(it was all for show according to this guy). The difference between the two is that david didn't have to do anything but sit there. This guy has to go to work and everything else.

I agree good movie but Christopher McCandless was went into the wild with no solid knowledge of how to survive, no adequate planning, preparation or supplies- it was basically suicide or irresponsible at best. It was a great book and a good movie. But based on a story of selfishness not heroics.

If a guy wants to live in the wilderness for a bit whatever. Irresponsible or not still his choice. Not like he drove that bus there with a group of school children.

congratulations, you're fast on your way to becoming "skinny fat" - no muscle and even harder to put it on. fucking idiot.

So I looked through the photos. Sure, his gut's shrinking, but you can see his biceps, triceps and abs getting smaller too.

The fucking annoying thing is how all his friends are probably telling him how awesome he looks now. Idiots.

Fastest way to weightloss = liposuction.
Don't want to do it? Then get your arse off the couch and eat some cucumbers & celerey.

yeah you are right. He made a choice, I'm sure his family has trouble understanding this, but you are correct it was his choice. However, it did cost tax payers money to pull his truck, body and garbage out of the wilderness. It is also reported and depicted in the movie and book that he failed a number of times to preserve the meat that he killed allowing it to go to waste. So there are a number of things he did that had negative effects that others had to take care of. I have no problem with the concept in fact i love it, i just think one should be prepared and full understanding of the elements and the effects of the actions they take.

Yea the guy is losing weight but his metabolism is slowing down to the point of when he starts eating again, he'll gain all the weight back quickly.
