States trying to tell you what you can/can't drink again

I wonder if anything would have been said if Snoop Dog wasn't promoting it. Drinking a can of Blast would be no different than slamming back a bottle of OE in my book -- just less liquid.

"He added the company is "expanding its market with our children.""

that's right, America...your kids drink. now instead of buying a bottle of vodka with a liter of coke, kids only have to buy a single can.

""They're marketing it as a single serving when in reality it's five servings in a can," said Raquel Guillory, spokeswoman for the Maryland attorney general. "We hope they would be a good corporate citizen.""

You mean like every other food/beverage company that has multiple servings in a single package?

God forbid these assholes allow the market to decide the fate of a product. Are they selling it in school cafeterias?

About six years ago I had the idea (I'd never heard of nor seen it at the time) to produce caffeinated beer via Private Label. At that time an extensive G search only turned up a small marketer in the UK that was doing this locally.

This is a killer idea and product BTW.

More searching revealed some clueless chick here in the states that had the same thing; But I never heard of her or her beer. So for all practical marketing purposes it didn't exist

So what was next?

Oh yeah the FDA -- fuck that shit. Just ask Four Loko how that story ends.

PS: they have since shut down that clueless chick too.
