Does anyone here have a steel building that they either use for storage or housing?
I have some land at Lake of the Ozarks that's just sitting there doing nothing. It's a few hundred feet from the lake, in a wooded area with no electricity, etc... I've been thinking about putting a small cabin up there. But today I saw a commercial for Kodiak Steel Homes and found they have small "bungalows" for $13k... so probably $17-20k after everything is built. My problem is I just don't know anything about steel buildings. Is there any benefit to steel over wood? I can get a pretty decent cabin built for $10k...
