Steve Jobs, smartest "CEO" ?!?



the greatest trick the jobs ever pulled was convincing the world apple invented everything.
 
If Steve Jobs was the smartest CEO then IBM and Microsoft wouldn't have kicked his balls in so hard all those years ago.

come on dude. you know thats not true. yes their marketing is great, yes their design is too, but their engineering comes up with true inovation all the time. I might sound like a fanboi here but apple innovates all over the place, look at how many patents they have.
 
Jobs sells an overpriced product to people with disposable income, and when he is out of the product, they beg for it.

I would have to agree....There's reason every MP3 player was compared to the iPod, and now every smartphone is compared to the iPhone, and there isn't even a tablet available that's comparable to the iPad yet...


Yes there are other products that do similar things, for the same price or less, but generally none are designed as nice, as user friendly, and have as high of quality.
 
Best CEO? No, but one of the most brilliant marketers. The guys company sold like 2 million iPad's in a week and then the same thing with the iPhone 4, even when they knowingly had issues. I'd say that's not too bad...

It's not about invention, it's about innovation. There is a difference.

its not overpriced, there is nothing else like it to compare it to so as to say whether it is overpriced.

take the ipad with its app store integration (and number of apps available there) - show me a comparable product, there isn't one.

So then, why is it overpriced? Because you personally aren't willing to pay for that integration? Lol.

Apparently millions of people are being duped out of their disposable income happily.

Definitely not the first time but with rebills most people eventually try to cancel, these people buy more.

who said i wasn't buying one? i'm browsing this right now on my 3GS and have my order for my (flawed) iPhone 4 already in. jump to conclusions much?

and yes, its totally overpriced. (Evo, Droid X and HTC Incredible are all comparable and much less expensive)

Jobs and his employees are smart mother fuckers... except the Smug peasants working at the apple stores.
