Strategy for building strong affiliate list and network

I am looking for the best way to build a large strong affiliate list, I am looking for any advice you have to offer. I was also wondering if anyone had any ideas about places to go to where I can contact affilites and talk to them about joining my new network! Thanks and look forward to hearing from you!

Wow that page does not exactly exude a warm fuzzy... No competent affiliate is going to be impressed by that, furthermore you will have a hard time convincing advertisers you are serious as well.
