Those pictures are depressing. The folks are trying to cover the truth. Its stupid. I wonder if pope will do something about it or just turn blind on it.
If he could visit one of those centres - that would backfire at people responsible for it.

Or could be the US govt has CNN in their back pocket, so they're not willing to publish anything that totally bashes the Phillippines, due to potential disruptions in things like trade relations.

As far as this Pope goes, he seems pretty legit. I'm not really into the whole religion thing, but there's probably a half-decent way to go about it if you don't try to interpret everything literally.
