Suggestions On Hiding My IP From Xbox Live?

So sometimes there will be cool kids on xbox saying people's IP address and "threatening" to hack this and that. Having my computer turned on does disconnect me randomly from xbox live. Maybe someone already did something?

So I was doing some research on how to hide my IP while playing Xbox live. I don't know much about proxy's and hiding your IP so was wondering if you guys could help out. I found this site that might help me: Home ::: AnonymityNetwork.com ::: provide Virtual Private Network

Apparently I need to use a VPN. Looks like the free ones out there are pretty shitty. Anyone suggest some solid ones?

Will the Anonymity Network work?

By using a VPN, is there anything bad that comes with it?

Is there any other way you guys suggest of doing this?
 


VyprVPN from GigaNews. It has insane throughput. I've run Xrumer over it with no slowdowns. Basically you choose to connect through another network in your network connections on your computer. Nothing else other than the login information is required.

Thanks man, going to check them out. I forgot to mention, I'm using a netgear router. Will it hide my other computers that is hooked up to the router? I have my Cable box going to my router. Router goes to a PC, my xbox, and an ethernet switch box. The switch box goes to a mac laptop and a different xbox. Will that all be affected if I put the program on the PC that has the netgear router installed on?

My one computer is messed up and it might be because of that. I went through the malware help on spybot.info. But I get disconnected randomly on xbox when I have that one PC turned on. When it's turned off it's fine. I don't know what else it could be, maybe my router is over heating or its old?

Not related to xbox live, but I wasn't aware of VyprVPN and was looking for something like this. Just signed up - so far so good.
 
Unless you set up your router using retard mode the script kiddies can't hack you. They could however theoretically ping bomb you dropping you from xbox live if they had your ip. A VPN won't change this they'd just bomb the VPN instead which will still drop you unless you bought a VPN with extra good ddos protection which will cost you some retarded amount.
