did you use new cc / billing info / name / etc? or same as from old account? did you close your old acct?
So now my content campaigns will run from 12am-2am, and then again for another random two hours sometime during the afternoon.
Nope, just on a new MCC account. Losing all that history really blows though: I'm paying out the ass for clicks. At least they're coming though.

No problem at all, and yes. I'm not sure if some or none of the damage carried over yet though. Just that it's at least better.
So, still working fine your new account? I opened a new account under my mcc but I think it was before the last update and I still had problems.
I think Google has gone too far with their algorithms in Adwords. Nobody knows why they are getting slapped anymore, or if it's just a technical problem.
It's stupid, almost nobody understands what all goes into determining the CPC which isn't really fair is it?
I think Google needs to be more transparent and more simple. How are you supposed to build a business using Adwords when you seem to be getting randomly slapped for no reason?

My super content-slapped account (a 4 year old account) seems to be getting more impressions for content campaigns each day. It started with 0 for a few days, then gradually increased. Getting maybe 10-15% of my normal content traffic. Some campaigns are getting much more than others.
Gonna see if I can get ahold of someone at the Googleplex today to see wtf is up.

hopefully they just wanted to get rid of most of the acai stuff quickly and they'll figure out how to restore normal campaigns soon

Mmmhmm same, couple of my campaigns that have run forever flawlessly suddenly stopped, I got 8 impressions so far today, and 3 clicks! Wooho...

Was this under a MCC? How did you go about opening up the new account?
Also, do you think accounts running Acai are being handpicked for the supercontentslap? Or could it be an algorithm or filter in place? I was thinking of using Adwords Editor to do a mass find-and-replace on certain keywords like "acai" to purge my account of weight loss trial shit.
