Dave is so fucked up in this video, it's hysterical.

I always thought that Jesus Lizard was a perfect combination of the Stooges and Big Black. I guess that makes sense, since they were good buds with Albini.

I did not get the opportunity to see them live though. I was pretty late to the party, and didn't really start appreciating them until after they broke up. I didn't find out about them getting back together in 2008 until last year! So, I missed that chance too.
 
Saw these guys at the Antenna club (2nd longest running punk-rock club in the US next to CBGB, both of which are now gone).
It was one of the wildest shows I saw there, and probably the one where the singer spent more time in the pit than on the stage. :music07:
