Synthetic happiness

I think that bias explains this graph very well:

My team supports it? Ok, I now agree with it!

This is definitely worth a watch. As marketers we should realize that having more choices available to our customers is not always better.

Dan Gilbert: The surprising science of happiness | Video on TED.com

Watch it from the perspective of why it's better to not give your customers too many choices.

Made me think about money-->happiness as well.

First off, nice video faggot.

Second, after watching it I still think you're a gay. (Thank goodness, I was beginning to worry)

Third, as a marketer you don't want too much confusion in your sales message...

That is you're trying to achieve a specific outcome.

People want you to lead them to their solution, because you're the expert in their eyes...Right?

Now what we're you saying about money ---> happiness... Didn't quite follow...

I guess everyone represents things differently, that's why I am against strict controlled research involving psychology/research in this way. It's still useful, obviously as a marketer you need data...

In NLP we say, "The Menu is never the meal" or "The Map is not the territory" because we all represent things differently.
