I usually try to find reasons to like people rather than to hate them.
Is that why you were on Ryan Eagle's nuts for so long? Too many damn reasons to like the guy.
The Tim Ferris podcast got old really quick. On a good day it's an interesting guest trying to tell authentic stories while Tim interjects for the 3rd time about how he drove a beat up minivan while he brain hacked his way to writing the four hour workweek. Tim is a good marketer yes, but he seems to not have any personality whatsoever and only exists as a meat puppet for his brand which shares his name. He markets the podcast under the idea of figuring out what great people do, which is a great and subtle way to market 100 products to you in one show. How many times have you looked at his show notes and felt compelled to buy many of the products? I'm too smart for this shit Tim.
BTW before I posted this I did meditate for 5 minutes using the Calm app. I also typed and archived this post in my Scrivener app while sipping on Casa Dragones tequila and snacking on Brazil nuts. Again, that's Casa Dragones tequila: It will make you a Navy Seal and not give you a hangover.
Are you suspicious of me? You should be. I read a book a day. Does that seem like an outrageous claim? "Nobody reads a book a day!" you might say. But how could nobody read a book a day if I read a book a day? That's circular logic on your part. "No, it's circular logic on your part," you might say. That's fine. You can say whatever you want. It's a free country. Maybe I didn't read these books. Maybe I just bought a bunch of books to make it seem like I am all smart. Have you read "The Great Gatsby"? Well, that's one of the books I bought. It's on this shelf right behind me. Are you more suspicious or less suspicious now? Well, guess what: I get suspicious when I see books that say "Get rich in only 3 steps." Three steps? That is far too few steps. You can't even get to be middle class with three steps. It takes at least 20 steps to get $100,000 and no less than 68 steps to get to a million. There is another Tai Lopez fake site out there on the internet that says you only need 67 Steps. Don't be fooled. You need a full 68 Steps. Think about it. Which is more - 67 or 68? Isn't it a FACT that you have to work hard to make money? I'm telling you it is. Work hard and you'll get ahead. But with my 68 Steps getting ahead will be a snap. But it won't be easy. You'll have to work for it. But it will come to you immediately. But not immediately after Step 1. Immediately after Step 68. But not quick. But yes fast.
To be honest, I think "4 Hour Work Week" is massively overrated compared to other excellent motivational/entrepreneurial books out there.
All I got from it, was that you could outsource shit to India and Philippines for cheap, while you travel around the world...
Mind you, he did a great interview with Mike Geary a few years ago > The Truth About Abs: How To Make $1,000,000 Per Month with Digital Products (Plus: Noah Kagan results) | The Blog of Author Tim Ferriss
