Slightly amusing, although it could have VERY EASILY gone wrong. I'm more worried about some retard watching this and then trying it out for a 'laugh' and killing their friend/family member as a result.
 
That could definitely be fatal ... for the dumbass who wrapped the tape around my head.

What a bunch of dumb asses... had a friend once die from attempting to play the "make yourself pass out" game by himself. That shit isn't cool.
 
If that happened to me, I'd wait until night when the person who did it to me was asleep. Then I would drop some sort of bug (spider?) in his mouth, and tape his mouth shut. Make sure he can breath through his nose.

Him feeling something moving around in his mouth while being unable to do anything about it would be the ultimate payback.

Obviously, make sure the spider isn't venomous. Unless you don't really care about the person... jk
 
You now what? I'm actually really glad that the common reaction here is actually a bit of common sense.
It really worries me that so many other online communities are filled with people that are, purely and simply, idiots that would find this funny and even attempt to emulate this sort of behaviour.

Does anyone else ever get worried that the future of entertainment is going to end up like the "Ow My Balls!" show from Idiocracy?

+1 It's rare to see people use their heads. (no pun intended) That is incredibly stupid, and dangerous. Forget suffocation for a moment, and think about the panic that would set in after about 30 seconds, could easily ending up with him dead from some sort of panic wound.
