Terra Nova



Watched the pilot and it was ok at best, for a show thats supposed to be 4 mill an episode you think it would be...better. I wouldn't be shocked if it gets cancelled after 5 or 6 episodes.
 
I'm giving it 1 or 2 more episodes. I can already tell that some of the side storylines are going to be gay as hell (pretty much anything with his kids in it).
 
Yep, very weak. Young soldier probably banging the guy's daughter, etc. Boo-friggin-hoo..

Expected way more from the show.
 
Lol it's a shame too because the concept is pretty good but it feels like it's going to be more of a family show more than anything. If the whole family dies in the next few episodes the show could get better...
 
needs aliens, give me some aliens. and some cooler technology. oh, and scrap the dinosaurs. Oh and add a wormhole to other planets, and make there be a civilization on the planet that worships fake alien gods.
 
The show needs to be about the parents, kids make it lame as hell. Might as well be the secret circle with dinos, yawn, cancel please.
 
The writers need to be shot. The dialogue is fucking horrible. Liked the premise, but I don't see this going beyond 1 season unless they clean house and get someone who can actually pen a decent script.

If i dont get to see the ending to universe (A REAL ENDING) before Im 60 im hiring the cast and making one myself.

They should just start up stargate altogether. So many new plots can lead off from SG1 or even continue. That show was better then sex (okay not really, but there are times id rather watch it)

One can hope that someone like starz or hbo picks it up at some point in the future. Starz did a decent job with Torchwood.

But the cast is all getting old -- someone better hurry up so there can be some transition :)

I was thinking the same thing. They could get that ancient aliens guy to help co-write and find the lost civilization that is now buried under the ice in Antarctica or something.

Then I could have more guilty pleasure that I have to shut off when my kids walk into the room. :)

The kids found some weird writing, but then it turns out to be form the boss's son or something.
 
I've seen an occasional episode of some dystopian-future, shot-in-Australia tv shows. They're always focused on kids in their mid-teens and the dialogue, acting and pace here is exactly the same. At this rate it's not likely to last.
