Seriously though, this morning I got a “very urgent” e-mail from Elvis Wang in china (see below) stating that some company was going to register our brand in all (or a lot of) the Asian domain suffixes.

Has anyone ever run into this before? My first thought is it’s a scammer trying to get me to register the domains, and my second thought is that it’s some fucking camper trying to leverage them (I’m looking at you wickedfire….).

Thoughts?

m0rtal's response was awesome^^ I've gotten a few of these emails as well but I just ignored 'em. I bet some people fall for them I guess.

Everyone will try to steal anything worth money, not just domains...
It's just sad through when a scam is so obvious that people still fall for it enough..
...the reason they are still spamming is because they have a certain sucess %.
