That's like if a Polish company licensed Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes to produce socialist propaganda and they had it translated to German in Russia and then translated from German to English in India.

The FAIL is high on this one...

I think all it says is what comes around goes around... Pretty simple message as far as I can tell.

It's a simple yet complicated premise, along the same line of 'The First shall be the last' kind of idea. You see this sweet little girl and she grew up to be a mean mother. You see this rude punkass kid and he grew up to be a loving grandfather. You see a boy taught by his father to hate Pakis, only to fall in love with one when he grew up.

The moral of the story is to hold judgement and not be prejudiced against anything because people change.

Beautiful narration from start to finish.

I skimmed this thread because the OP sucked, but I saw Calvin and Hobbes mentioned. Fuck I loved Calvin and Hobbes. Best comic ever. My parents thought I was weird when I was 11 and all I wanted was every published book of Bill Watterson.

I enjoyed it. But I'm also chock full of existential anxiety about the human condition and the inevitability of my death and how we waste so much limited time with negativity.
