The Free FB Uploader

it messed up in actually posting the ad (maybe it went to the next one too quickly? either way after it was completed there were no pending ads in my account :(

also what is the variations thing? how does that work? the run i did was all the same headlines and destination urls with simply a different image for each.

thanks again, i'd really love to figure this thing out!

I'm actually getting the same problem, running Windows XP on VMWare Fusion the program tells me that(after a long while) it has successfully posted all ads but there are no pending ones when I log in to the account. Something's not working as when I push play nothing happens in the window, but the program still shows ads posted under "progress".

it was actually just on windows 7 running in parallels. also i'm finding that cvs editor to be a huge bitch...is there an easy way to just use notepad or excel and save as windows cvs? should that work?

well doh :) you can use whatever you want as long as the delimiter is a semicolon

About the other stuff, I can't figure out why IE doesn't except Facebook's certificate like that but it's definitely either an IE or a Facebook issue. I've had no problems with either so it's probably something that's going on your end. You're running IE8, not the IE9 beta I hope, right?

Just sent you an email. You're the only person that seems to have this issue and I need you to help me reproduce it so we can figure this out.

Alright, I think we've gotten to the bottom of what Creamy had going on. I think I fixed it in the version he's testing now. As soon as I have confirmation that it works, I'll upload it to the site.

I def confirm that. LeF really provided in-depth support and we got to the bottom of the problem. Once again thanks a lot for the work you put in.

Cool, so the newer version is up if you want to download it.

The problem was that Facebook words things differently for Brits and Aussies and that threw The Uploader off when it tried to look for certain queues on the page. Future versions will probably default to American English before uploading ads -- just to save everybody the hassle.

there such thing as a freaking mac version of this beast.. ill even pay some fly money if you feel what i'm saying..
