I don't want you to fix this I want a REFUND

What are you going to do fix this? You only going to post more duplicate content.

The way we would fix it is by having your
articles rewritten, so that there are no
sentences reused from any seed articles.

In the cases where customers found high
dup-content rates, this is what we've done
and it has consistently resolved the issue.

We'd gladly do it for you too.

On December 26, I made a video admitting
that we were having issues with content and
we'll gladly fix any orders that have content
related issues and even completely redo them.

Please let us deliver the same service to you.

Alex, I will pm you directly.

I'm not sure if I want to work with Alex again or not, in order to get this fixed.

I'll need time to think about this.

The 5HOTH submissions were based on 5 spinning articles. I did a duplicant content checked and the first articles that came up on the results were.

article 1) 59% copyscape match
article 2) 65% copyscape match
article 3) 63% copyscape match
article 4) 68% copyscape match
article 5) 53% copyscape match

The percentage indicates the amount of similarity between the articcles..

The match is horrendous, if you look at it in copyscape the article body is almost entirely pink.

What's mpre I can definately say that the xrumer submission was NOT responsible.

Initially I stated that the crumer submission was done on the 18th - right before the site got sanboxed.

I looked through my records. And I discovered that the xrumer was actually done on the 12th. Which was right before the recovery actually.

You can see from the email above. I sent the submission to airforcematt on the 11th, and he returned the scrapebox submissions to me on the 12th.

Alex is free to email airforce matt in regards to the validity of this screenshot if he doesn't believe me, the order number for airforcematt'#s order is in the screenshot. he can cross reference that order number with the HOTH order number 309. To make sure the submission is valid

So the drop in ranks with the true events is actually more like this. Xrumer had nothing to do with the drop, in fact it stirred the recovery and I suspect the intial hot submission caused a drop to #60. And the subsequent article submissions just killed it.

I appreciate Alex's gesture to help this. But obviously something fell through the cracks. And some lazy worker decided to cut corners on the spinning and completely wreck the site with duplicate content backlinks.

I'm not sure if this is repairable with another HOTH I will sleep on this and see step I need to take.

So here is the situation.

I've refunded TigerUK 50% as promised.

In addition, as per our discussion via PM,
I have offered to completely redo the order
that is in question here (#309), with new
articles and everything. We will send him
spun outputs of the articles before we create
any properties so he can evaluate them.

As promised, we will own up to any flaws in our work.
If you have problems with the content in your order, just
email or call me and I will definitely get you sorted out.

I'm going to step away from the computer for
a bit so if anyone posts anything in the next few
hours and I don't respond lightning fast, its not
because I don't care. I'll get back to any posts/
PMs/emails later tonight.

Thanks all,

Just to update everyone, I declined the offer to re-do the entire 5hoth for the website. Alex was kind enough to offer that, however I don't feel comfortable with using the same technique to de-sandbox my site. So I opted for a full refund.

I figured I'd use the $200. to do $7 manual had written articles on articlebase, bukisa, EZA etc.. I could get around 28 articles written using that method, and it may even get me some traffic as well.

To be fair to Alex, judging by the feedback from other users, who have had success using the HOTH, I probably got the worst effect from it. And the worker who was creating the spinning article for my job just did a very lazy job with it. Although, It should have been spotted by the managers and stopped from being submitted.

It looks like your site got deindexed due to the Xrumer blast mate. I have no complaints about The Hoth.

This thread gave me a malware warning when I opened?

Hey my man, someone hot linked to an image on
the front page of the thread that has since been
compromised in some way (might have been me).

If you go to pages 2-5 of the thread, you'll see that
the warning is gone.

I'll talk to zingo and ask him if he can get rid of the
problematic image.

Sorry about that,

Wow, I revisited this thread as I was one of the first posters in this thread a long time ago and I wanted to see how this service turned out because I really was interested in buying it.

Eliquid,

As a competing vendor that has made disparaging
remarks from day 1, which has been addressed
both here and in the "Review Beggars" thread,
respectfully, I don't think there's anything I can
do to change your mind.

I kindly ask that you not taunt our thread.

The Tiger UK orders were placed early December
2010. We're nearing the end of January 2011, and
we've had the duplicate content issues resolved for
over 2 weeks, since the day that Insomniac posted
his complaint. There was an explicit issue with the
instructions we had given our writers, which were
open for interpretation. To be clear, I'm not
passing the buck to my employees. It was the fault
of myself and my partners and we fixed the issue
immediately.

To All - There are a number of improvements that
we've been working on based on your feedback.
Some are already in place, and some still being
ironed out. Look for a new iteration of The HOTH
in the coming weeks.

Zingo has already agreed to do a review, and I will
find another highly qualified & unbiased member to
do another.

Have a great weekend,

-AP

You must be mistaken, you are no competitor to me as I don't do web 2.0's or interlinking of sites made on bum marketing methods. I don't even write or provide content, so you must know not what service I provide I guess.

I didnt come here for you to change my mind. Like I said in my comment above, I wanted to see how things have came as I was interested in your service even after there were no reviews given out in your thread, which you made perfectly clear there was no need to but oddly enough are now offering. I've seen a slew of new web 2.0 link wheels providers crop up so I wanted to revisit your service to see if yours would be something I rather go with compared to the new providers. I did not leave any taunts above in my comment, so again you are mistaken.

I wanted to see how the service was doing, I didnt say anything positive or negative in your sales thread but I was surprised at other peoples comments.

The "disparaging remarks from day 1" comment you made above is your opinion, but as a major reviewer of services here I was trying to break down the logic of why you were not providing reviews for your new service after the bad comments on your prior launch.

Don't start another multi post thread about it here with me though.

Just a quick FYI, I finally got my act together
and created The HOTH FAQ. I'll be adding more
to it in the days to come, but this should answer
80% of questions you may have about The HOTH.

Ah man, looking at the package its good for my requirements, and I even considered being a bulk buyer in using HOTH as the back bone to my linking campaign, but the reviews killed it for me. I feel duplicate content issue is pretty serious. If we are to buy from you what guarantees that this issue won't happen again?
