I'm ignorant on these news stories, but could it be the case that whenever a crime is committed by a muslim, the news stories scream Muslim Criminals but whenever it is done by a non-muslim, it is just a crime not labeled as Christian/Athiest/Yellow/Brown/Conehead/Wanker/Martian/Latin? I mean, the amount of fear when it comes to anything Muslim seems to be a lot more than in other cases

Actually the most recent Real IRA bombs to explode in London were in 2001. March 2001, bomb outside BBC, May 2001 bomb outside Royal mail sorting office, Aug 2001 bomb in Ealing injuring 7. And of course they've continued in NI every single year. The "Real IRA" haven't disbanded - do you think that just because these terrorists are not "official" that does not make them Oirish? Of course those killers are mainly about Irishness! What else would they be about?

The only reason there hasn't been any more deaths is because we've got better at catching them - like I said, several bomb threats in the last month alone. There hasn't been any deaths from Muslim bombing for 10 years for the same reason, we're better at catching them.

And in total deaths from Irish terrorist nutters = 3500, total deaths from muslim terrorist nutters = 56 (55 from the 7/7 bombing + Rigsby).

As for being "over run by terrorists" - well we have kindly let in about 5 million Irish, plus about 4 million from muslim countries. I lived in Liverpool for quite a few years, it's known as the Capital of Ireland due to the number of Irish there and the strength of the Catholic church (the city has both a Catholic and Protestant cathedral). The Irish seem a friendly lot, love to party and have a good sense of humour, I just found them to have a strong victim mentality.

My great grandfather: Protestant minister in Liverpool. Great grandmother: Irish Catholic lass in Liverpool (Washerwoman? The hell if I know.)

Anyway a happy life for them was not going to happen there for them so they came to America.

I'm steeped in Irish-American stuff from both sides of my family (doubly so by the clannishness of Irish neighborhoods of NY) - but I do not identify whatsoever - unless it's St. Paddy's Day. Then I'm happy to. The simple fact is that reality dictates that I'm 100% American. I don't resist that.

With all that said, I think Wez and teatrees take on Ireland today is probably right. Does anyone else remember the "Celtic Tiger"? I do well. How stupid. Tiger gone, since replaced by PIIGS. (Anyone unfamiliar with PIIGS should google refrain from commentary on this particular subject).

There are things I like about Irishness, but wholesale embracing of all things Irish ain't included - I've seen too much of it. It doesn't jibe with the 10,000 Irish bar-owning/working mooks I've met over the years. Do Irish-natives do anything else? And when push comes to shove they tend to be socialist. Please. Btw, Irish and English natives get along great in the states, as far as I can tell. They probably have more in common than differences stateside. Well there are Sharia courts already in existence - at least 26, and their ideological starting-point goes against many aspects of Western Secular culture, such as gender equality.

Moronic Islamists are trying to impose sharia law in parts of London, a couple of the more lunatic members have recently been imprisoned.

About your second point: you need to separate the Government of the UK, from the people. This situation sort of began in earnest by a traitor called Prime Minister Edward Heath. It was continued by others, but ramped-up by another traitor prime minister Tony Blair, who opened the flood gates to third world immigrants for political gain. The current class of politicians are more or less spineless cowards who only now are taking steps in the hope of total annihilation at the general election in 2015. They are probably seeing a rise of growing civil disorder, which brings me to my next point.

The people, on the other hand, are beginning to fight back. Check out Britain First a small organisation which specialise in direct confrontation and harassment of muslim hate preachers. We have the EDL, whose leader jumped ship after a series of 'unfortunate events' such as endless police persecution and infiltration by racists - yet the movement is incredibly popular among the population - see vid below.

The UK is on the verge of being a police state. Brits are the most video recorded population, certainly in Europe (though the number of cctv cameras is falling in some parts of the country due to costs). Laws against protesting, what you can and cannot say, are draconian. But this isn't a reason to take the piss out of the British people (the USA isn't exactly a shining example of democracy). No-one voted for this utter shit.

I think several things will change things for the better. Parts of Europe are already on the verge of meltdown. The President of Italy talks about the threat of insurrection, right now, in Italy. Spain is about to fall apart. This might weaken the EU. Britain has a referendum on membership in 2017, though I think the pressure will burst through before then, starting next year in the European elections. This will give power back to Britain and remove any excuse the pathetic politicians have for not taking action against islamist wankers.
