If you will write for article sites then its easy.. Leaned a good technique while writing 2 years ago... Just get 3 articles on Ezine, read em and close them.. NOw write them down in your notepad in your own words... Then after that take it down.. then re polish it tomorrow. That's how you create articles for article sites like ezine etc etc

Now when it comes to sales articles for post, emails and blogs its a different story, that's where you need the catchy shitty words...
 
Article writing is essential in IM. If you don't feel confident in your writing skills, then outsource it. If the content on your site is garbage, nobody is going to stay on your pages. Making compelling content that keeps readers interested is a skill, and I've noticed many webmasters don't know how to do it and are too cheap to buy high quality articles.

Bullshit. This is not what article writing is about. The purpose of an article is to provide real, genuine value to readers. Hey ese, search engines don't buy from marketers. People do.

And you can still bring in a lot of traffic through an article without relying on them engines.

If you can't write articles yourself or dont want to, just outsource it and focus on other things. Such as the aesthetics of your site and linkbuilding.
 
you can search many articles to know more about writing styles. content of article is also very important. When you are good at writing article, you can get other person to write and you will give them comment
 
Article writing is a very important skill,

However, not everyone can be a great writer. When this occurs many people will outsource their writing to good and established writers on the BST section or other places.

Content is becoming more and more important nowadays with the google updates.

You were able to string a couple sentences together in this post which means you are good enough to write your own articles on article directories and your websites.

This is the internet, you don't have to be amazing with perfect gramar and spelling but you need to write content that readers want to read. A user can overlook your lack of skill if the content is golden.

If you are doing sales pages, then I might hire someone to do a little copy for you. Most cheap articles you buy will be total crap, so just do it yourself until you can pay real writers later on.

If your work is well researched and the content is highly original that is the important thing.
 
Yes article writing a skill is hard to master but nothings is impossible.Start checking some sites that shades lights on this & start implementing what you learned.Remember on the initial period like everything you will not gonna be a pro like others but the more you write the better you will be :).

I think it depends on the niche. I had a site where content was my main concern, I worked really hard on it and spent my time on converting traffic rather than just increasing it. Meanwhile, while my "mentor" had a bunch of sites that had a lot of popups and huge ads with outsourced content. Well one of his sites had the same amount of traffic as mine, and he outsold me.

But that was that niche. If you're trying to build an authority blog, than content is key I would say.
 
^^ Sweet! When reading Crack's 8 commandments for content writers on the paid content thread, I felt like it wasn't worth it to pursue a career purely in content. But it's just what I'm good at and I fail at link building so it's nice to see someone else doing purely content.
 
It is absolutely true. But about the "newbie IM" thing, it's NOT. It's more like, article writing skills is another method to earn online like outsourcing or spinning. However, it just happen that outsourcing, spinning etc. are faster ways to grow your online business.

Besides, a normal person cannot make 10 400-500 word articles a day. This is why such methods (outsourcing, spinning etc) exist. You can say that article writing skills are being left behind by this new methods or being over-shadowed to make it precise.

In another way, you can always produce better results if you write interesting and new ideas that people wanted to read. For example,

new techniques/software to hacking
gadget news and updates
trending topics
software cracks
how tos

etc.
