That was your first mistake. Some people run because they don't have any choice; some people do things even if they don't want to sometimes. Beck, Palin; I would wager these people don't even necessarily want to be saying or doing the things they are - Beck has made some pretty powerful enemies - but it's their duty as an American.

Nobody notices the obvious two-faced pandering? She's claiming a belief the world is 6,000 years old to cater to the Christian fundies, yet has dabbled in witchcraft.

Why doesn't she just cast a spell on her opponent?

Sadly, the Tea Party was doomed from the start. By basing the Party on fiscal platforms only, it left itself exposed. All liberals need to do is find Tea Partiers with outrageous social issue positions (like this dingbat) and then promote it as "this is what the Tea Party stand for".

Fuck I wish there were more electable libertarians.
 
Just glad shes not calling herself a Libertarian like some people are starting to do, all the while railing against half the things that Libertarians believe in.

I'm almost convinced that if a Libertarian does get elected in 2012, you wont be able to tell the difference between the elected Libertarian and todays Republican. It seems like theyre lowering their standards just to get into office.
