What about John Mueller saying Google now wants all links (anchor text and urls) in press releases to be NOFOLLOW? I want to make sure they are all setup this way now. Personally, I don't care about WHY they want it to be this way because it will still have value -- however, I DO CARE that they are all NOFOLLOW links. How is this incorporated? Do you even offer this as part of your service?

would like to know this too

I was about to bring this topic up in the thread actually. So thanks for prompting it.

Google has said a couple things. One is links from PR's should be Nofollow. The other is that anchors in PR's should be natural (brand names or raw urls). Lets take a look at these.

Natural Anchors:
This makes plenty of sense for Google. With a real PR, the site isn't worried about stuffing their article with keyword anchors. They are worried about reporting on a company message. I have always recommended people use either just raw urls or brand name and raw urls. I do believe Google will look down on keyword anchors and people should shy away from using them.

Nofollow links:
This is just a strong arm tactic by Google to try and force PR sites to nofollow their outgoing links. Google knows PR sites have a strong impact on serps. They also know a lot of quality sites do press releases, so they can't just slap sites going through press releases.

This is not something we need to worry about on the customer side. There are zero PR websites currently that even offer you the ability to nofollow the links. All PR links are dofollow. Google knows this. They can't slap a site for using dofollow links on PR sites currently as all PR's are dofollow and quality sites use PR's.

Google is just trying to get press release sites to adopt this and start nofollowing their customers links. The dofollow links you build have value and will continue to have value. Google just wants you to not be able to build anymore dofollow PR links by getting the PR sites themselves to change their links over to nofollow.

Those are my thoughts. Feel free to share your own.

Your ad isn't loading for me.

Yea, odd. My image was deleted from the OP for some reason. I added it back in.

Sent you another order... these the perfect solution for kicking off new posts.

Thanks

Just made 2 orders, looking forwrd to seeing the results on both sites, whats the turnaround time?

Thanks. Typically 3 days for us to send you the article and another 3 days for the links to be added to the bottom of the google doc we send you.

Back again.

Just ordered 10 copies. Matt Cutts has a lot to say about press release links lately so that must mean they are working great!

This service is an amazing value and I hope it never changes!
