I have a question...it might be a spoiler, so I put it in a different ?(shouldn't be if you watched commercials..but just in case)
Spoiler Question: Can anyone explain to me, why the starship fuel also turned a person into a prawn? I mean it makes absolutely no sense for it to have that function.

maybe that fuel is like our carbon shit, the fuel is the essential element of those prawns. anyways that was a bad ass movie.
just saw it in theaters and thought it was really cool. Typically when you go to see a movie about aliens you expect the same story line of omg aliens are here and are attacking us we need to put together a wise cracking team of stereotypes who will narrowly pull together and defeat them in the end with their puns thus saving the world. I won't spoil it but basically the movie was nothing like that and it was really entertaining for that reason.
Finally, I get to know what the Aliens are saying now!!!

Trying to download the torrent posted but it's seeded poorly. I'm only at 3%, but I'm uploading at double the rate I'm downloading. I don't seed for any long period of time, but I have almost no cap on my upload while I am dowloading and I'll let it keep seeding while I watch it. Then I delete it so I can't continue to seed.
Which one, the MiniNova, or the Demonoid?
MiniNova took a LONG time yesterday and the Demonoid DL'd in about 45 minutes for me earlier today with an upside down 4 to 1 ratio.
P.S. Private torrent sites I seed for at least 3 months on a torrent and on public sites I seed until I hit a 10 to 1 ratio and then remove it from my torrent client. My boxes stay on 24/7 for at least 3 or 4 days at a time.
Until I get the time to watch it again and find out what the Aliens are saying I'll hold my off on my judgment for now.
Although it IS reminding me of the OLD movie Alien Nation (1988) Alien Nation (1988) - Plot Summary combined with Independence Day so far.
That subtitle ain't working for me, I've tried Quicktime with Perian, I've tried VLC, I've tried Mplayer and so on, even tried converting ssa to sub and srt.
EDIT: That only contains subtitles for the alien speak and even that isn't complete.
Sorry, I'm not too video literate when it comes to those damn codecs and such. That link was posted in the Demonoid comments for that torrent in response to people there wanting only the subs to add to the Russian video with English audio that they had already downloaded.
That's why I let others do it and either pay them or in the case of torrents, I return the favor by seeding their stuff.
I'll download it onto this machine and see if I can get it to work with mine using either VLC, Divx, Realplayer, or WMP.
If I can get it to work, ANYONE should be able to!! LOL
I'll post back up in few.
