wow wow, Feeling the hate tonight. First off, it is a good movie. You probably don't get it, which is okay. And for Ly2wf, quit posting here, and answer my question on cravings bruh

I liked the "false prophet" scene the most, just because I hate preachers so much.

Def. one of my top favorite movies,

Fucking epic movie. One of the best I've ever seen.

You're a tard if you don't get it.

Loved that movie, it was great from begining to ending, especially the begining, when noone says shit for couple of minutes, so powerful

movie is awesome, scene not so much

Alright.. but the scene is epic because:

a) The first time he openly discusses what drives him to make money

b) The first time he openly admits he will do anything to be successful hence at the end of it, he suggests what he will do with the adopted son. This was huge, because it's when you actually realize he never cared for the son as much as making money and only used him to portray himself as a family man. Since he was deaf now, he would only be an inconvenience if he was there and so he sent him away.

--I just watched it and I go a bit overboard with underlining themes/cues.

Whats there "to get"? This movie was just as shit as No Country For Old Men. Chop an hour out of the boring, predictable plot, and it might have been tolerable to watch. Considering all the hype over it, it should have had a mind blowing ending, not a hernia educing slumber.

Perhaps you are one of those people who think Inception was a mind fuck.

God, please let that be tongue in cheek.

There are some directors I will always watch: Eastwood, Anderson, etc. They're talented storytellers.

There are some directors I will take every opportunity to poke fun at. Because they suck. A lot. And they keep sucking. Everything they touch sucks. And nothing will make their work suck less. I would rather be stuck in a room with a group of no-nothing Keynesians than watch one of their movies.

I thought the acting was good but I also didn't get it. I remember leaving the theatre telling people, "there will be questions".
