I researched how to deal with ddos (for the n-th time now).
Found an awesome article about some guys using a shitload of cheap vps accounts across the globe to host a bunch of light-weight front-end servers used as reverse proxy for their main server.
Combined with round robin A records in the DNS zone pointing to those vps's, they managed to deal with a flood of something like 2Gbps for only $160/mo.
All in all, cool story.
