Think we can get 4chan on this guy's azz?

Not your personal army, etc. Also if it's not about some guy kicking a cat 4chan doesn't give a fuck.

I've been saying this for awhile now but the people who go out of their way to not be served ads are probably the people you don't want to serve your ads too anyways.

What confused me was this statement he made:

"We're not trying to be against all advertisers. We're trying to make the user have an experience when the Internet first came out and there wasn't so much interference,"

Excuse me, but what I remember most about the early internet days were endless popups and constantly being redirected to shitty ass sites. Wtf is this guy smoking.

I think he meant the time before that.

When to sell something - you had to email someone a text file with the salesletter. Many decades ago.

"We're not trying to be against all advertisers. We're trying to make the user have an experience when the Internet first came out and there wasn't so much interference," Advertisements aren't inherently evil, the Russells reveal. So why are they using a brute force technique to solve a complicated problem?

=

We want advertisers to pay US instead.

It reminds me of bullshit like hotmail, who will call everything spam, but they'll be happy to whitelist you if you pay them.

Keep in mind the Internet of Butkus and Russel's youth, which they're so desperate to recreate, was pretty terrible. The 31-year-old Russell, for instance, would have first been logging on in the age of Prodigy and CompuServe

More bullshit. The numbers don't add up. They wrote this, themselves, of course.

The company raised more than $200,000 with a Kickstarter fundraiser last year

Just wow. That sounds like 200k worth of stupid people who didn't understand what they were contributing toward.

So...

The $ to pay for web hosting? The $ to pay writers. The $ to pay for stock photos. The $ to promote stuff. The $ to cover video and computer equipment?

All gone?

No thanks.

Also all of the sites promoted this: Without getting publicity this would have never gotten $200K. If anything, you should go after them as well.
