Why would i out my own shit? Suffice to say, there is no lack of quality designers in PH. In fact, for the region, I'm overpaying mine.

You actually trust your CSS and Android development to the Philippines? I've found them to be great at writing and support but horrific at and actual coding. Also, why 3.5 designers but only a single writer and assistant, doesn't quite match up with a normal balance.

That meets my needs. This is an affiliate marketing forum, not an SEO forum, or have you forgotten?

The reason your coders suck is because you don't interview them properly. Don't worry, most people suck at hiring coders also.

Personal Assistant for $1.64/h and you call other peasants?

Lulu Lemon, Adidas, Nike, Warrior, Under Armor pays their factory workers $0.93/hr in PH. I suppose they are all peasants too?

And can you give a hint which important work he is doing?

Includes but is not limited to in the last month:

Organizing a dirt biking trip to Cambodia
Sorting out a special visa
Paying bills
Cleaning
Buying clothes
Buying coffee
Organizing VIP for a concert
Data entry for a website
Organizing an APEC card
Finding not-so-common alcohol
Following up on quotes
Groceries
Organizing a phone contract
Hotel research

They all work out of the same PH office, so technically there is overhead, however I wouldn't consider any of the overhead extensive or prohibitive. The more people you hire, the lower the overhead is.

Outsourcing in the normal sense (someone else managing your employee contracts) is a fairly bad idea in PH. The labor laws between western countries and PH don't mesh well, the government passes silly laws to make it hard to get anything done, and the various cultural differences take a lot of time to break down.

Common sense isn't common in the Philippines.

This all is highly relevant to my interests. I assume, you are also residing there in PH currently/ most of the time/ some times?

It is amazing that freelancer.com accepts these kind of jobs. This just adds to my opinion that this is a trashy plattform.

About outsourcing: Yes, it is a myth that you can just say to some random guy "do something" for a very low hourly pay and expect miraculous results. It pays big time to put great care into selecting and training freelancers.

But i only get shitty bids on freelancer.com, mostly from indians who just spam their generic offers. I don't know if that's a cultural thing. Once i had a dude write in his aplication "what is it?"...WHAT IS IT! Can you imagine? How can people expect to get hired at all!

OVERPAYING ? SERIOUSLY ? I'm really beginning to question whether or not you are trolling.

I could just do an AMA in another thread if there is enough interest? This is turning into a pretty big thread jack.

Yes, overpaying. I could go into the details of PH wages, regional differences, etc... but it's seriously a long post. Suffice to say, westerns tend to overpay employees they outsource to in the Philippines; however they do so mostly at the cost of subverting local labor laws.
