This was my "This kid is the shit" video today, that goal was pretty sweet though.

wow good thing I checked to see if anyone posted this video cuz I would have gotten flamed hard... was just about to post the same thing hahah

anyways... this kid has been all over the news here in Boston today, he even made it on the headlines of NHL.com ...

I'm 22 now and started playing hockey when I was 3 years old and played in all kinds of leagues and you can ask anyone about the high school competition around here (toughest in the USA) and I have never seen anyone score a goal like this... you have to have the best hands in the world to get the puck up on the stick like that even though it's the blue puck, which weighs about half as much as a real one, but still amazing and I couldn't do it in 1,000 tries....congrats to the local kid

^ Was wondering the same thing, but that certainly doesn't take away from how great of a shot that was. I believe that was the first time I have ever seen anything like that. That kid definitely has some skills...

Kid was interviewed on the local news here in Maine. Said he couldn't believe he made it himself but he had been practicing - he calls the shot "The Michigan". When asked by the local sports reporter "why?" he replied "because it's a cool name". Kid has been on skates since he was two. Good for him.

i used to play, if i did that, my coach would have smacked me with a clipboard. there's no way anyone can do that on command. it would be like harlem globetrooters vs. the lakers.

hmmm... kinda similar

My friend can do that original trick, just takes a shitload of practice and some decent hands.

not gonna lie... feel bad for the goalie... lol... that'll take a toll on a young puck stoppers confidence seeing himself all over the news and internet for a week straight

To the hockey shot I say WHAT WAS THAT???!!!!
That is the result of creative vision and endless hours of practice to the point of perfection. Which brings me to the other example of tireless execution...

Wow, the video of William really makes you feel like you have no excuses no matter how bad you think your situation is. Most of us really don't have it as bad as we like to make it out to be. We can make it happen if we just have a clear goal, pool all of the resources we have available to us, and take persistent, focused action until our visions are our reality.
