I'm not saying you're wrong at all. Rogers definitely is a freak and will go down as one of the best. However, I don't understand how people can shit on Eli the way they do. You absolutely need to consider the players around a QB when analyzing their respective greatness. The Packers have a Good to Great offense this year. Rogers is barely ever touched in the pocket. He has had a group of reliable receivers for the most part as well.

Eli is definitely not as lucky. The Giants offense this season reminds me of that movie "The Replacements" with Keanu Reeves. They have a makeshift o-line and a receiver core that changes weekly more or less.

My point is that Eli is on par with Rogers/Brady/Brees without a doubt. The kid can place the ball where no one but his receivers can make the catch. The majority of his interceptions this year are due to receiver error, not him. He has multiple 300+ yard, 3+ TD games already and is an absolute freakshow in his 2-minute game. On top of it all, he probably has the best attitude of any player I've ever seen.

Open your eyes folks.
 


Eli is a decent quarterback, heck he's even been top teir this year. In fact he's been improving pretty much every year he's been in the league. Saying he's better than Rodgers is stupid. You can say Rodgers is only good because of the receivers he has, but like some others have said they aren't all studs. Jones is meh, Driver has to be on his last year he's slow. Nelson, Jennings (who's now out), Finley are studs. But if you take a guy like Rodgers and put him on ANY other team in the league he'd still tear it up. It's not Rodgers fault that he's a total stud and that the Packers are a pass first team, because Rodgers can make every throw out there (and even some you didn't think could be made). If we lost Rodgers and didn't have a guy like Flynn we'd be just as bad or worse than the Colts this year, because we don't exactly have a running game.

You can make whatever excuse you want, it just won't be true even though you want it to be true. On to 16 and 0 and another Super Bowl. Yeah buddy!

Rodgers is great but so wasn't that rams Qb for first few years then when people got use to his rhythm and timing what happen he went from Outsanding to just good. Same thing will happen to Rogers and if not then ill agree with every one.

Bress has been doing it for years so IMO Bress > Rogers

Brees is also much older and has been around in the league much longer than Aaron Rogers.

The worst thing that could happen to the Broncos is Tebow having a decent year (win percentage-wise) because they will avoid making the needed draft pick and changes in the offseason. He is not a good QB.

Being a Bronco fan i agree. I am so sick of the bragging on him, He plays 3 quarters like shit then gets lucky of in the fourth and last time i checked it was prater winning all them game's not Tebow

My exact comment to brother after the game. It is easy to look like a here when you play teams that suck but when you get your ass handed to you like that when you play the first real team then your true colors shine.

Denver should of lost the last 6 so they could of got Andrew Luck next year

What's more (and this is something never mentioned on this thread because I doubt any of you faggots even played pee-wee football, let alone competitive football) is that Tim Tebow is successful not because of Jesus or clean living - but simply that he is a motherfucking jock.

Brady - 322 total yards 3 TDs

Tebow - 287 total yards 2 TDs

Really not far off, they lost, or at least didnt keep it close because of the horrible turnovers.
 
lol @ people putting shit on Tom Brady - 3 Superbowl rings with really no name wideouts for at least two of them and one other appearance in a SB.

That only puts Bradshaw (not a great BQ, but part of a great team) and Joe Montana (one of the top three of all time in my book) ahead of him as far as wins in SB goes.

Funny how people can hate on greatness, and I'm not even a Pats fan.
