Tips for staying organized and managing time on multiple projects?

Time tracking: I was using RescueTime for a long time, eventually cancelled it as I didn't find the insights particularly actionable. I'd really love something that runs in the background and assigns my time correctly to various projects - suggestions appreciated (I'm on Windows). I know there is one tool that takes screenshots at certain intervals, I might investigate that.

Project management: I've gone through the research, setup of self-hosted solutions like ProjectPier, Aptana, FengOffic, all the rest. Too feature-rich and not user-friendly enough, and too time-expensive to maintain. I love Basecamp, it's a small cost for something that clients love - it just works.

Sometimes, thing cannot be done because our focus is not there. I know that i can only concentrate 1.5 hours per time, i will give myself 10~15 min breaks in between these slot so i can re-focus can do my work efficiently. To me, it not how much time i have input , it more of how much quality time i have used.

I am not capable of being organized, but I've some good success with tracking my to do and projects with Asana.com and then tracking time for projects on Freshbooks.com or one of the other timetrack tools.

Asana is actually something I recommend. Very nice and easy and lets you tick off boxes which gives you that closure feeling. Try it, it's free.

Have a simpler suggestion to the same...
Try hiring out virtual assistants or admins, that would indeed be cost effective and if you have found the right person, it would definitely be a long term effective relation.

I recommend Trello, Basecamp, and Hubstaff. These 3 combination makes my work easier, faster and well-organized. I use Trello apps to organize task(comes with a drag-and-drop features), Basecamp for file sharing and storage of data, Then free account called Hubstaff https://hubstaff.com/ for time tracking with random screenshots.

nice 2nd post. Bumping a thread last july, putting obviously your link and using the site name as your username. cool :repuke:

Ohh sorry FlipFl0p, I actually use that name because I'm a part of their marketing team and also, thread was 2013 so I think it's not too old.
