Let's face it, the search engine landscape has changed. The days of throwing up 300 words of engrish second language fodder and ranking highly are disappearing quickly, if not already gone. Panda has swept the interwebz and for a lot of us, the results have been disappointing, to say the least.

Most of us have suffered some losses of ranking and income, and there's a lot of confusion about how to recover from it. If you're anything like us, you went from banking off of a bunch of different sites to getting almost no traffic and no sales. And it sucks.

We feel you. Hell, the entire webmaster community feels you. And it's time some one did something about it.

Well, thanks to the guys at serpIQ, we've figured out a big part of the puzzle. Take a look at the following graphic showing the average content length of the top ten positions for over 15,000 keywords. Some people are going to say
"well, it's only 15,000 keywords, 5000 word wikipedia pages are probably skewing that"
And we're going to say, "law of large numbers".

Yeah, that's no misprint. For over 15,000 keywords, the front page results have an average content on the ranking page of 2000+ words. Read more about it here.

How's your 300 word article looking now?

....

Mhm, that's what we thought.

When you say preformatted with meta tags, images, and bold keywords, how is the preformatting set up? Are you delivering a raw HTML page straight up, are you putting the images in img tags, are the keywords bolded with <b> or <strong>, or are they bolded with MS Word bold formatting? Just curious about the final product. Waiting for reviews. Thanks.

Hey..

The Articles will be delivered in .doc all keywords bolded, mets description listed, meta keywords listed. Pictures come in a seperate file with a text document where you can link the pics as well if you dont want to host them yourself, the pics have kw optimized filename and are cropped as well.

Sounds really interesting. Where do the images come from and are they licensed in a way we can display them and not worry about getting one of those infamous getty letters, or some similar demand from a lawyer?

forgot to ask what the eta on completion is

Your one should be done tonight Asia time or tomorow.

Nope the images are not licenced only cropped and possibly resized.

The writers on the LL articles are great for those packages, but are they the ones writing for this, too? Or have you got native speakers doing these?
