TN Man “Fathers” 30 Kids But Can’t Support Any

Hello Facebook lulz:

This man is the pinnacle of evolutionary success. Just think about it. He has really hacked life. He has 30 offspring which in two generations may have produced as many as 60-90 grandchildren with a modest estimate of 2-3 kids pr. generation. He is on the level of former kings and sultans. And the best part? He gets other people to pay for everything.

People who don't believe in degeneracy may have to reconsider. This is exactly why welfare states will breed themselves into idiocracy.

Lmao, so I read each mother gets $1.50 a month. 11*1.50 = $16.50. That means he makes no more than "$33" a month.

Serious question: how would you solve this issue?

Would you continue funding "charity" through welfare? If so, how would you run it? Keep doling out checks, or go 100% necessities (foodstuffs, utilities, etc.)? Install performance markers (i.e. meet XYZ goal, get more money)? Put welfare on a loan basis, and force recipients to work at specific tasks to pay it off (indentured servanthood)?

Or, would you cut welfare, and force others in the community to adopt?

Or, would you cut funding and let the kids fend for themselves, possibly dying as a result of starvation, violence, etc.?

If you're a proponent of forced sterilization, at what point would you take that step?

Anyone? Anyone? C'mon, let's hear some solutions.

Getting rid of welfare very gradually might work. Doing it suddenly won't. If even a fraction of the people on welfare end up in jail (something like 4% i read), then the "Savings" the state would have made will vanish.

So, all judgement aside, the one thing that popped into my head was the 30th woman to file for support. She must have known about SOME of the OTHER 29 kids. So, was she really thinking there was any money to squeeze out of loverboy?

Suing people who have no money to begin with not one of the smarter things to do in life.

(Oh wait, I'm supposed to be in outrage over this man's wayward penis. Yeah, yeah...)

It's amazing how when a problem like this is the state's problem it's ok with Mr. Hatchett, but what if the problem became his problem? I'm willing to bet that if family and friends put enough pressure on people like this then they might actually own up to their responsibility.

tl;dr - cut him off, let the families figure it out.

If I had solutions I'd have more important things to think about than EPC's and wouldn't turn to WF STS for most of my political news.

I dunno. I think examples like this come down to individual responsibility. I personally manage to have enjoyable sex and so far have avoided children like the plague. Not because I don't like children, because I'm not at a point in my life where I feel like taking on the MASSIVE responsibility that having just one child puts on your shoulders.

Welfare is a tricky subject and I'm far from an expert on it.

In a perfect world in cases like this I'd like to think that the families, communities, local churches and charities would help to support the children as opposed to putting the burden on tax payers.

I don't think I could ever be a proponent for forced sterilization.

I dunno. Tricky situation. Back to work (would love to hear your thoughts though).

You mentioned most every apparent solution that comes to my mind and none of them are really appealing to me, each for different reasons.

I know this isn't really a direct answer to your question but I think the most effective way to solve the underlying conditions behind the issue is to strive for full employment.

Beyond that for me it's just a question of how to practically achieve it. And at this point I honestly don't care how it gets done because we're so blown out we need something, anything to get things cranking along again. If it's feasible and doesn't involve genocide then let's do it.

Either way I honestly don't give a fuck. He's just gaming the system like all the other big shot wall street crooks do.

Middle class america is getting played by both the top and bottom.

Winner winner chicken dinner!

We're way past the point now when I feel forced sterilization should be considered. The only problem is I don't trust those who do the forcing. Sadly, cutting off some balls in the USA of 2012 seems the most humane thing to do.

In an AnCap society, this couldn't happen of course, because you're forced to take on much more responsibility for your own actions. Clearly that's the correct answer.

You don't feel that severely infringes on personal liberties?

And you'd trust the U.S. Government to draw the line at where cutting off someone's balls is okay?

Genuinely curious.

Make the people on welfare work for that check. Clean up the ghetto or at least they can take care of parks and roads. Someone might say why not just go get a regular job and make a man of myself.
Yes this sounds socialist; like giving away free money isn't. Sometimes people just need pattern interruption. Some will always be on welfare but are perfectly capably of making a great living.
