The steel weekend and this happened.
Trusses connected Perimeter columns to the core. Without this connection neither one could stand alone. Note how the columns are constructed in threes known as column trees. Each column is bolted onto the column beneath and to the tree beside it.
It would only take one or two floors to have this happen, the floor(s) drop and you exceed the live load of the building and it falls.
"NEVER BEFORE OR SINCE 9/11 HAS ONE BEEN TAKEN DOWN without controlled explosives. Never."
Saying something has never happened before automatically means it couldn't happen? That's possibly the stupidest thing you've ever said.
The empire state building was different construction, different plane, different speed, different amount of fuel. I suppose the pilots were ordered to attack it but failed when the building didn't fall?
"But bending doesn't move the bottom floors sideways out of the way allowing for freefall! Only a brainwashed buffoon would believe that story."
The bottom floors didn't cause the buildings to fall, the collapse of the floor(s) did.
...Not to mention, it doesn't account at all for the clear video evidence of liquid, molten metal dripping out of the sides of the building that several sources got on tape.
Molten steel explained.
Don't believe me, believe a structural engineer about structural engineering.
Of course I don't, that would make me as ignorant as you. I know a VP for one of the biggest demo companies, he was not surprised at all that the buildings fell from the attacks. Once the first floor or two dropped, the floor below could not support the weight and the building dropped, simple. Live loads.
