I've been reading the help section at AdSense and have noticed a lot of people wondering why they're being banned. Ask yourself this, "am I using copy or cloned content that thousands of other people use?" AdSense wants you to have original content. Don't be surprised when you get banned for uploading and displaying ads on a "article page" that a thousand other people are using or a game site that a thousand other people are using.

If this assumption is wrong, please tell me.:food-smiley-010::xmas-smiley-010::updown::p:costumed-smiley-015

People fail at adsense (and a lot of other things, too) because they think ads first and content second.

If you're serious about bringing in some ad revenue, save yourself a lot of fail and just forget about the ads.

Build a fuckin site first and get more than 2 people a day visiting it. Build it about something you know so you can at least act like you know what you are talking about.

This fucker here uses a default wordpress theme and you can look through the whole site and not find ad #1. While you are looking for the ads, you'll realize that all those words and numbers and stuff on the page fit together to form some pretty good information. That site probably gets more people in a month than you will get all year if you are just starting out.

So don't run around copy/pasting ad code on your "site" when you don't even know what the fuck it does; put some sentences together and maybe a few images here and there so people may actually bookmark your site and come back to it again.

You don't have to use the default theme, but don't put in too much time on the design at first because when people come across a halfway decent design with bullshit for content, they'll just rip it off since they know your site won't be around very long anyway. So stop fucking around trying to find some ads for your 2 visitors, stop trying to build a site about mesothelioma because it will be obvious you don't know what you are doing, and stop hitting up Mr. Markov for content because no one wants to read that shit unless they are really fucking high.

Thanks, and have a nice day.

oh no I have 2 very well designed wordpress blogs about things I'm actually interested in and do as a hobby. I get around 300 unique's a month now and decided to start some adsense.

Welcome to three years ago (again)

hahahaha well played sir! and I realize it's redundant but if you just do your own thing then chances are you won't get banned. these kids have got to be using crappy duped content.

Do your own thing?

There is no own thing anymore. The world has a population of 6 billion people. Everything has been done before.

Focus on local. Consumers are tired of over-seas tech support and cheap import products. Anything that brings it closer to home will prioritize you over everyone else.
