Tokyo advice?

It's my first time in Tokyo and I have to say, that this place is wicked so far.

Wondering if you guys have an recs for places you've been here. restaurants, clubs, bars ,whatever.

 


shibuya is also great for clubs - that said i spent most of my time drinking at izakaya's in shinjuku.
 
I don't get out there too much but I hear my Tokyo friends talk about places. If you're looking for girls there are lots of clubs and bars in Roppongi where girls speak English, maybe in Shibuya too. The default is probably Muse. And if you didn't know, lots of English speaking girls are good to go and if you push it's quite likely you'll pull. Check out a lovel hotel. There's lots in Dogenzaka up the hill from Shibuya.

All I do is fuck girls and do IM so that's about all I can help with. LOL

You gonna be by Osaka as well?

I know, I'm a NANPA artist here in Canada. I just need more money to live in Japan, that's all :)
 
You think I can get a job teaching English in high school even ought I'm a high school out? Probably could, if I bull shit my way through.

i have family in osaka, i go almost every year.

my cousins live in umeda..

my japanese is not that great... but i can understand and speak a little.

i am planning to go back this year and hit osaka and tokyo

I'll be spending three weeks in Japan starting next month. While I'm in Tokyo, the only things I plan on doing are going to Akihabara and getting my picture taken next to that big Gundam statue.
 
awesome! I was in Japan for two weeks last year - def check out the shops in harijuku if you like fashion, the stuff is awesome there - nikes, new balance and lacoste sneaks like you wouldnt believe.

Get some sushi at the TSUKIJI fish market - dont worry about getting up super early to see the market in action, that place is seriously dangerous in the early hours, but you def should eat sushi there, the freshest sushi on earth, have it for breakfast!

Ropongi is the place to wild out if you want to meet some japanese girls who love americans, just watch out for all the jamacans trying to take you to strip clubs

the maid cafe (@HOME) in akihabara sucks, don't do it, unless you don;t mind dropping like 30 bucks on some ice cream and getting ignored. and you can't even take pics. Worthless, but Akihabara has sweet video games.

definitely stay in ryokans, they are cheap and pretty nice

..... Man, I love Tokyo, planning to go back next spring.

We went to Nikko, Osaka, Nara, Mt. Fuji, and a few other places. Nikko and Nara def worth it, Fuji and Osaka, not really.

I'm staying in Roppongi so I've hit the clubs there a couple of times and they are fun.
Also rented a bike and went around Shibuya and Shinjuku to teh streets where the girls dress like either hello kitty princesses or goth (or a combo of both).
The food here is amazing, best city I've ever been to for all types of food.

Robfantasy - That's amazing you can speak Japanese. Must help with the girls alot. I can barely say arrigato goyzamasu.

im mixed japanese / white..

japanese girls love me.. i dont even need to speak =)
 
it's not that crazy expensive over here if you don't eat in western places. I've met some engrish teachers who live on $2,000 per month and go out 5 nights a week.
I'm spending over $800 though as shit is just too fun to skimp here. also the hotel is $400 so it adds up.

Last night a sushi chef cut out a still beating Macrel heart and gave it to my date. haha. i took some video of it and will upload it if I figure out where to host the vid.
