Too Much Screen Time Means Health Decline

It is common sense but the scary part is that exercising every day, once a day, doesn't seem to fully counter it. For the past 4-5 months (ever since I've read something similar) I make it a point to go out and run some kind of errand (e.g. supermarket, grab coffee) 3-4 times per day; get in a mile walk in at a time. If I remember correctly, the article stated that moving around throughout the day is much better than exercising in one shot. It's a good relaxation from work too (e.g. set up ads, go walk, come back check stats :)).

eat right, pick up some weights a few times a week and get cardio 2-4 times a week.

if you can't do that and it causes you to die early... they should put it in your obituary that you died from laziness.

Get a standing desk. Much better for mobility.

I've been considering making a setup like this for a long time. I feel like getting blood flowing helps me to think more clearly and feel less tired.

Trying picking up a new hobby. I've taken up archery, and shooting arrows is fucking fun, especially with a traditional bow. And it's challenging. Even just walking to and from your targets is a bit of exercise.

Yeah I think it's key to break it up ... I personally never sit in front of a screen for more than 2 hours at a time, and that's an absolute maximum. I'm also very active and get at least an average of 10 hours a week of serious exercise. Not sure what else ya can do...

Treadmill desks are cool in theory, but whatever you do don't buy that one in the picture like I did awhile back. It's a huge POS. The treadmill sucks like you wouldn't believe. It's basically a $150 walmart special. You're better off buying a nice used treadmill off craigslist and building a simple desk/hutch to go around it. Or drop 5k or whatever for the steelcase ...

Hello friends,

This is why you outsource. You can go party and live good live while other work hard to make you rich.
